GT Open competitors ‘en force’ at Daytona 24 Hours

No less than 30 drivers having raced in the GT Open took part this week in the tests ahead of the Daytona 24 Hours, which will live on 27-28 January a stellar edition, with a huge and top level entry, including double F.1 Champion Fernando Alonso, who will debut in endurance racing.

Former GT Open champions in action include Marcel Fässler (Corvette), Gimmi Bruni (Porsche) and Alvaro Parente (Honda), with former runner-ups Alessandro Pier Guidi (Ferrari) and Nick Tandy (Porsche) also present. Among most recent GT Open competitors, Antonio Da Costa (ORECA) and Gustavo Yacamán (Ligier) are racing with LMP cars, while Côme Ledogar and Mario Farnbacher are teaming up on a new Acura NSX and Andrea Caldarelli and Ezequiel Pérez-Companc are part of the Lamborghini squad.
