Poland’s Karkosik is feeling confident ahead of EF Open’s Monza event
Alex Karkosik heads to Italy with confidence and optimism. The Polish driver will contest Euroformula Open’s Round 6 at Monza after two rounds missing podium finishes at the Hungaroring and Silverstone. Karkosik finished sixth in Hungary and fourth in England with his Campos Racing-run Dallara. However, Alex is an expected podium contender next week after a strong performance there in 2017.
“I can’t wait to get racing at Monza next weekend. Monza is the best race of the season in my opinion because you always get into so many amazing close fights. I’m really looking forward to it. Besides, previous Campos Racing success there is another source of optimism. I wasn’t able to step onto the podium recently, so I’m really hungry for rostrum finishes now!” said Karkosik.
