An intense activity of winter test programme has started for the Euroformula Open teams. Yesterday and today, three squads were testing at Estoril in Portugal: Motopark, Carlin and Drivex.
They all tested with prospective drivers for the next season, and confirmed the growing interest for the series from young drivers coming from a variety of single-seater formulae around the world.
Motopark was present with four cars, Carlin with three and Drivex with two.
The German and British teams are literally on an “Iberian tour” of testing as, from now up to Christmas, they will be testing again at Estoril end of November (2 days) and then Jerez (2 days), Portimão (2 days) and Barcelona (3 days). It is expected that they will be joined in some of the sessions by other squads, as Drivex has done in this occasion.
