The ‘Iberian tour’, a winter testing programme being run by several Euroformula teams, continued in both Portugal and Spain over the last two weeks as drivers took to the Estoril, Jerez and Portimão tracks.
Carlin, Double R Racing, Motopark and CryptoTower Racing Team were all on track evaluating drivers for the 2021 season, and there was a mixture of wet and dry conditions to challenge the drivers in the fleet of halo-shod Dallara 320s.
CryptoTower had prospect drivers in its cars, and the drivers Motopark was running included its 2020 racers Niklas Krütten and Matthias Lüthen.
British team Carlin, which claimed its first win with the 320 car with McLaren factory driver Ben Barnicoat at Mugello, called up for the Portuguese tests graduates from the BRDC British F3.
Double R Racing also ran a BRDC British F3 graduate in one of its cars, alongside a driver coming from Formula 4.
The next test on the Iberian tour is at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya next week (with track activity going on from Monday to Friday), and is expected to attract even more teams, such as Drivex School, before everyone takes a well-deserved break for the festive period.
