Ramos, AF Corse and Ferrari on top of winners’ statistics

As a new season is preparing, time as come to give a look at the historical statistics updated at the end of 2020. A few names stick out.

Miguel Ramos, co-champion together with Henrique Chaves, has clinched his second GT Open overall title (the first was in 2015), joining the other two drivers, Andrea Montermini (2008 & 13) and Joel Camathias (2007 & 09) with two GT Open overall titles under their belt.

More importantly, the Portuguese has reached Andrea Montermini at the top of the ranking of drivers with most race wins (20), preceding Richard Lietz (13) and Joel Camathias (12). The Portuguese also strengthens his leadership in number of races contested (146), ahead of Montermini (121) and Raffaele Giammaria (114).

With its 4 wins in 2020, AF Corse keeps safe its leadership among Teams with most wins (27), with Teo Martín Motorsport (17) now second ahead of Autorlando Sport (16).

Among car brands, Ferrari has broken the barrier of hundred wins, summing up 101 successes, way ahead of Porsche (33) and Lamborghini (14), with Aston Martin, McLaren (13) now very close to the top-3.
